 FRIENDLY AT SHERBORNE - 16TH SEPTEMBER 2025

Eight ladies travelled to Sherborne for a friendly 4BBB and all would probably agree that the course felt long and tough.  The recent rain had transformed the hard, dry ground to lots of lush, green areas of rough edging the fairways which some of us found difficult to negotiate, not to mention all the numerous bunkers situated round most of the well kept greens - a challenging course indeed and exhausting!

The CST ladies played valiantly, but we all lost our matches.  However, the weather stayed dry, the Sherborne ladies were good company and we all enjoyed a delicious cheese scone with cheese and pickles afterwards.  Thanks to Rita, Ruth, Jan, Liz, Loren, Margaret and Paula for a great effort.
